Day 19 in Melbourne
The last day of September 2014~ It is a very cold day today, there is strong breeze and light showers! Rainy rainy day is a bad bad day for us. Not only do we need to carry an umbrella and brave through the rain and strong wind by walking home, it also takes more than 15 minutes.
Gone through my NMR training by Dr. Peter Nichols, now i know better about how it works but still abit blur about the characterization of my molecules. I only know how to differentiate TMS and Chloroform, doublets and triplets. I do not know how to analysis the other proton and check if it is the right structure.
Spent the entire day in the lab doing work up, filtration, neutralizing. Tomorrow will be a busier day for me as i will need to do column chromatography and freeze drying for my products.
