First day of internship in Monash University. 15-30 minutes walk to science faculty everyday is a good form of exercise especially in the morning where the temperature is pretty low. My supervisor is Dr. Brendan Wilkinson. He is a very friendly and nice guy, i'm so glad to be doing research work together with him. I hope that i can meet or even better, exceed his expectations by producing a very good work at the end of the 3 months.
You can't say that the day is boring as there is not much to do, however it is pretty challenging for me as everything is new and different from Singapore. I'm seeing NMR machines for the first time and there is alot of NMR machines in Monash. Was reading the journals and found out alot more about what i've heard in the textbooks that are in practical uses.
Coming Monash University to intern is a very good choice as not many people can get the chance to intern overseas so its time to cherish the opportunity and exceed the expectations by doing a good job~
A pretty busy and simple day. Time is not enough for us as it gets dark after 6pm. The shops here normally opens from 11am to 5pm which we would not be able to walk around in the weekdays. There are also not much street lamps so we can't be outside for too long T_T It gets too dark and cold after the sun sets.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow, all the stuff i'll be doing in Monash~ Ciao
Make memories that last forever
