Day 20 in Melbourne
It already October! 2 more months to go home~ Aww how much i've missed home T_T. The weather here are so unpredictable. It can be 18 degrees then suddenly drop to 9 degrees. It is too cold here! I will start to appreciate Singapore's weather more when i go home HAHA
This week is the semester break for Australian students. The school is pretty quiet these few days~ I learned how to do freeze-drying today~ You just need to use liquid nitrogen to freeze the products and then use the machine to vacuum out all the air. I completed 3 products which is a big sense of accomplishment for me~ Many many more steps to go~ The 3 products i've made are prequel for other reactions, like adding on more legos on a piece of lego to form a big structure.
Isn't chemistry cool? To me, it is a form of art. You need to use the correct reaction conditions, correct solvents but different starting material if you want many different types of product. I cant wait till all my products are made! :)
