Day 46 in Melbourne

Got woken up by loud thunderstorm and bright lightning streaks! The thunder is so loud that i can feel the house shake. So i woken up at 2am by the thunder and lightning :( Couldnt fall back asleep until around 4am!

I wonder if there are much stuff that prevent lightning to strike at people like the ones we have in Singapore above our HDB flats. The houses here are so short and it just doesnt feel as safe when walking outside when thunderstorm is occuring.

Walked to school under the rain, even with an unmbrella, my shoes, socks and pants just seems to end up being soaked in rainwater. So uncomfortable having wet socks and shoes for the entire day.

It is kinda productive today. Did a column which lasted for 3 whole hours, a reaction, a NMR and helped Hillary with some stuff. Brendan had a weekly chat with me about some chemistry and he is so funny! HAHA
